“The only problem with playing so much is the injuries,” Gasperini had certified just a few days ago, having been dealing with a constant emergency for months now.
Like the attack, still the protagonist of yesterday’s report from Trigoria after the restart, with Roma engaged in a friendly against Atletico Lodigiani: Dybala, Soule, Ferguson, and El Shaarawy are all out. Wesley and Hermoso are also close to returning.
To better understand how to manage this situation, as Il Romanista reports, a meeting was held in Trigoria in the past few hours, focusing on the management and recovery of the injured players.
The Koné case sparked a debate. If he trained with the group on Monday morning, perhaps he could have been at the Maradona the night before and helped out in the final 20 minutes.
This was also, but not only, discussed in the meeting between the medical staff members inherited from Gasp, mostly from Ranieri, and the Friedkins’ trusted medical advisor, Dr. Georg Ahlbaumer.
