As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Giallorossi have opened talks with Monza for Matteo Pessina.

Gasperini would be reunited with an old acquaintance whom he coached at Atalanta.

The Italian midfielder is returning from a partial tear of the proximal biceps femoris tendon.
