Roma has added two key players to Gian Piero Gasperini’s roster: Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz.
The Roman club, however, intends to make a further investment to strengthen its attacking line.
One player who’s attracting attention at Trigoria is Leo Sauer.
A Feyenoord winger, he’s of interest both for his ability to attack deep and his future prospects.
Born in 2005, he’s ready to reach his full potential.
The Rotterdam club’s asking price, however, is high: the Dutch club, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, value him at €15 million.
The investment appears more sustainable than an established player, and would fit perfectly with Roma’s strategy, which focuses on both the present and the future.
Sauer has so far collected three goals and two assists in 23 games with Feyenoord. The player has also made five appearances, scoring one goal, in the Europa League.
It remains to be seen whether Roma intend to make the move, but the only certainty is that they intend to further strengthen their squad in order to hope for Champions League qualification.
