In these last hours, the interest of the Giallorossi club is shifting decisively towards Nadir Zortea, a winger coming off an excellent season with Cagliari.

The 1999-born player closed the season with 6 goals and 2 assists, numbers that made him the most prolific right back in Serie A 2024/25 in terms of goals scored.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the performance of the former Atalanta player has convinced Massara to temporarily put on hold the path that leads to Wesley, another profile followed closely in recent months.

The main reason for the overtaking in the Roma preferences is not only technical, but also economic: the cost of the Brazilian’s signing is considered too high for the current parameters of the Roman club.

Zortea, on the other hand, represents a more accessible solution and is already ready for the Italian championship.
