The big news of the 19th matchday is the Roman derby that will be scheduled in the evening, at 20h45 on 5 January.

The last Derby played at 20.45 was actually on January 15, 2021, but behind closed doors due to the coronavirus emergency that was holding the country in check in those days.

So, to find a derby with the public in attendance, we have to go back to March 2, 2019, writes Gazzetta dello Sport, when Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio won 3-0 (Caicedo, Immobile, Cataldi) against Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma who would be fired a few days later.

The hope is that on 5 January everything will go smoothly: there will certainly be a massive presence of police forces to guard the hottest points of the city.
