Roma continues to push for Joshua Zirkzee, a long-time top target to strengthen their attack in January.

Further confirmation of sporting director Frederic Massara’s pressure is emerging.

As reported by Daniele Longo of calciomercato.com, progress has been made in the negotiations.

The Giallorossi have already reached an agreement with the striker and negotiations with Manchester United are also progressing.

The formula being discussed by the two clubs is that of a loan deal with an option to buy.
