Roma remain locked in negotiations with Porto over a potential deal for 19-year-old winger Rodrigo Mora, and Monday’s reports claim that the Giallorossi are willing to offer three different payment options to the Portuguese side.

Roma want Mora and have three different offers for Porto

Gian Piero Gasperini has explicitly requested a new right-footed attacker on several occasions this summer, and after missing out on deals for Antonio Nusa, Crysencio Summerville and Mason Greenwood, Porto’s Rodrigo Mora has emerged as the latest option.

Reports over the weekend made it clear that Porto are seeking a fee in the region of €45m if they are to part ways with the teenage talent this summer.

According to reports from the Corriere dello Sport, Roma are keen to seal a deal for Mora, but handing over €45m outright this summer is an unlikely scenario.

The Giallorossi are reportedly willing to offer three different options to Porto. First would be an initial loan deal at a cost of around €5m with a future option or obligation to buy for a fee in the region of €40m.

Alternatively, the Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma are willing to purchase Mora outright, but in two separate instalments of €20m and €25m in a year’s time.

The third option would be for Roma to buy Mora outright for a fee in the region of €25m-€30m while offering Porto a 50% sell-on clause.

The Corriere dello Sport reports that Porto are encouraged by Roma’s willingness and that the Giallorossi are currently in pole position to strike a deal for Mora, ahead of Galatasaray, who have also been linked with the teenager.
