Roma’s transfer market is about to kick off.

With less than two weeks to go until the summer transfer window opens, new sporting director Tony D’Amico wants to make a move immediately and give Gasperini a Champions League-caliber signing.

The hot name, as is now well known, is Mason Greenwood.

The Marseille playmaker will leave the French club this summer, and the Roman club has repeatedly made it clear they’ve put him at the top of their list to strengthen their attacking line.

Gian Piero Gasperini has asked the Friedkins to make an effort to bring the former Man United player to Trigoria, and the owners appear to have granted this request.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the American family is reportedly ready to agree to a new purchase formula: a full payment plan to circumvent the restrictions imposed by UEFA and Financial Fair Play.

In the background, the Moreira and Molina options remain unrelenting. Strasbourg is unwavering in its bid for the former and continues to demand at least €40 million to release him. The Atlético Madrid full-back, however, could leave Spain on significantly more favorable terms.
