Frederic Massara will be busy on multiple fronts this winter transfer window.
The Giallorossi sporting director will have to resolve issues related to Giacomo Raspadori and Joshua Zirkzee for the incoming transfer market, and he will also have to consider the renewals of players whose contracts are expiring.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma is very close to extending the contracts of Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante.
Discussions with their respective representatives are progressing rapidly, and an official announcement could be made soon.
Only the final details are missing, and then both will commit to the Giallorossi until 2030 with their renewals.
This season, Cristante could make club history. Having arrived in 2018, he has made 340 appearances to date. He’s just shy of Guido Masetti’s 10th place with 364 appearances.
Mancini, who arrived the following season, has 298 appearances, two shy of Marco Delvecchio’s 20th place with 300.
