Fabio Silva is being heavily linked with Roma.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Portuguese striker is pushing Wolverhampton to sell him.
He’s made it clear to the club, which has never believed in him, forcing him onto four loans in the last four years: he wants to leave as soon as possible.
He already has an agreement in principle with Roma, based on a five-year contract worth €2.5 million net per year.
However, the English club is facing strong resistance, demanding €20 million to let him go with one year remaining on his contract.
Massara would like to increase the offer to a maximum of €12-13 million, or convert the deal into a loan with an option to buy, even higher.
However, this would require Wolves to first negotiate a contract renewal with the player’s entourage, at least until 2027.
