Roma ready with improved Summerville offer to West Ham | OneFootball

Roma are sending an improved proposal to West Ham United for Crysencio Summerville, claims Fabrizio Romano, probably at the €46m already reported by Sky Sport Italia.

The pursuit of the Dutch striker is no secret, but there are conflicting reports on the status of the negotiations.

It was suggested by Matteo Moretto and Romano that the opening offer was €40m plus €5m in add-ons, already rejected by West Ham United.

Sky Sport Italia, however, put the most recent bid at a total of €46m including bonus, expecting a response by Monday or Tuesday.

Romano now reports that this proposal is about to be made official, so it may well be the same one at different stages of being formalised to the Premier League club.

Rome-based reporter Eleonora Trotta claims the offer is €45m plus €5m add-ons, with a contract for the player worth €4m per season.

Summerville is a 24-year-old attacking winger, so would be able to form an intriguing trident attack along with his fellow Dutchman Donyell Malen.

Sky Sport Italia also insist that the player has given the all-clear to joining the Giallorossi, so personal terms should not be an issue.

The problem is that West Ham are believed to be asking for €50m to make the sale, with Galatasaray, Manchester United and Al-Hilal among those also interested.
