Davide Frattesi’s situation has become a veritable soap opera.
The Inter midfielder, who was very close to leaving the club last January for Nottingham Forest, finished the season with the Nerazzurri without earning the playing time he had hoped for.
This time, however, his departure from Appiano Gentile seems imminent.
In recent league matches, Cristian Chivu even preferred Andy Diouf, and the former Sassuolo player wants to find a place that will guarantee him a starting spot, or at least more playing time than he earned with Inter last season.
According to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, the midfielder is highly regarded by Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini, who has admired him since his time at Sassuolo.
The 1999-born player would also welcome a return to the capital after his time in the youth team, but Inter’s assessment remains to be seen.
The Giallorossi, who could part ways with Koné this summer to capitalize on Financial Fair Play benefits, are closely monitoring the situation.
