Roma still keen on Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho amidst Crysencio Summerville push | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma have made a significant move towards signing West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville but haven’t stopped in a move for Chelsea’s Alejandra Garnacho.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that a move for the Dutchman is indeed gathering pace but this doesn’t mean attention has shifted from Garnacho. Talks for the Chelsea player remain on and the Giallorossi haven’t given up on him yet.

They want two attacking wingers and are keen on the Argentine. Names like Nahuel Molina and Dodo have emerged but Roma aren’t interesting in pursuing them yet. Besides, the Argentine is fully focused on the World Cup final and it is believed the two names have simply been thrown around, with there being no confirmation about their interest.

Move could be a financial challenge

Summerville will cost Roma a significant amount, which may not help in a move for Garnacho. He is unlikely to be cheap and Chelsea won’t make it easy, as they aren’t going for Diego Moreira. As a result, Roma may need a sale to sign the ex-Manchester United man.
