Roma target Raspadori and Everton pair for January – report | OneFootball

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have targeted Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucouré and Beto, along with Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori, for the January transfer window.

The Giallorossi are expected to bring in reinforcements in the winter transfer window.

Gazzetta confirms that Claudio Ranieri’s priorities are a striker and two new full-backs.

The pink paper adds that two of the Giallorossi targets in the attack are Napoli’s Raspadori and Everton’s Beto.

The latter, a former Udinese striker, has scored four goals in 12 appearances with the Toffees this season.

The Portuguese forward would be a backup for Artem Dovbyk, while Raspadori would offer Ranieri different attack solutions, playing close to a classic centre-forward and opening spaces for the midfielders’ late runs.

However, it remains to be seen if Napoli will sell the Italy international, who will start in a Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie against Lazio this evening.

Doucouré, who is also under contract with Friedkin-owned club Everton, could replace Enzo Le Fée, the only outfield player that Ranieri hasn’t yet deployed.

The Frenchman joined Roma in a €23m deal from Rennes last summer and may leave the Olimpico on loan next month.
