Roma ‘to consider’ Simon Adingra as Brighton ‘join’ Roony Bardghji chase | OneFootball

Roma are reportedly considering a move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra, while Brighton are said to have joined the race for Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji.

VoceGialloRossa reports that Roma see Adingra as an alternative to priority target Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig, with PSG youngster Ibrahim Mbaye also admired. After missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Nusa is described as top of their list, but Adingra is also liked within the Giallorossi hierarchy.

Adingra, who arrived from Brighton and Hove Albion last summer, managed one goal and one assist in 15 games before a loan to Monaco for the second half of the season. His Sunderland future is uncertain, and the report values the Ivory Coast winger at about £30m, which would represent roughly £9m profit if met.

Sport claims Brighton have joined Sunderland and Leeds in pursuit of Bardghji, and adds that Barcelona could sanction a deal including a buyback clause. The winger is said to prefer a loan to prove his worth before returning to Catalonia.

The 20-year-old moved from FC Copenhagen to the La Liga champions last summer, recording two goals and four assists in 28 appearances. Only 10 of those came as starts under Hansi Flick, and the arrivals of Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi appear to have reduced his chances of increased minutes.
