Following the failed medical examinations of Lens defender Kevin Danso ahead of his supposed transfer to the Giallorossi, Roma have reignited their interest in Juventus central defender Tiago Djalo and are on the verge of finalizing the last-minute swoop.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reveals that coach Daniele De Rossi’s side have reached an agreement with the Bianconeri on a one-season loan with an option to buy worth €9m plus an additional million in bonuses.

With Thiago Motta having excluded the former Lille defender from his plans, the Old Lady came to agreement with the capital club fairly quick as they were eager to find a solution for the Portuguese international before the closure of the market.
