In January, Roma acquired Lorenzo Venturino from Genoa on loan with an option to buy set at around €7 million.
This deal was completed alongside the transfer of Baldanzi to Genoa under the same terms (€10 million).
The 2006-born player didn’t find much playing time in Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, which managed to finish third in the league table, surpassing AC Milan and Juventus.
The Italy Under-21 winger made just one start, and that was at Genoa. The result was poor: 45 minutes of mediocrity before being substituted at halftime.
Gian Piero Gasperini intends to overhaul his attacking lineup for next season.
As Il Messaggero reports, Lorenzo Venturino is among the players set to leave the capital.
After 198 minutes of interesting performances, Roma will not exercise their right to buy the 2006-born player.
Evaluations are underway for the other forwards in the squad, with loan deals ending and players with limited market value, such as Dovbyk, whom the club hopes to release to finance its acquisitions.
