Serie A giants Roma are looking to sign a back-up at left wing-back and now see Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas as a target.

Roma are currently looking to sign Tsimikas on an initial loan deal with the option to buy and Liverpool’s stance about this remains to be seen.

Corriere dello Sport have similar information, as they report that the Giallorossi only want to sign the Greek defender on an initial loan deal with Angelino currently Roma’s first-choice option at left wing-back, as he also impressed in their 1-0 win over Bologna on Saturday.

Tsimikas played 18 Premier League games last season for Liverpool and assisted once, also featuring a total of six times in the Champions League but he still remains a bit-part player under manager Arne Slot.
