Romano: No ongoing talks between Roma and Nusa | OneFootball

Roma is very active in the transfer market.

The Roman club has already welcomed Santiago Castro and Kostantinos Koulierakis, and Nahuel Molina is also expected to join Gian Piero Gasperini’s side soon.

The coach’s primary objective remains the attacking left winger. For now, however, the Roman club sees that goal as far off.

As is well known, the Giallorossi have lost Crysencio Summerville, and so the club has had to dive back into the market in search of other options. Among the names being considered by Trigoria is Antonio Nusa, but the Norwegian is not actually close to joining the capital.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, Nusa’s entourage hasn’t leaked anything about a concrete negotiation with Roma. Furthermore, Leipzig doesn’t need to sell a key player in their squad.

The Germans sold Diomandé for a fixed fee of €125 million, and with the club’s return to the Champions League, they want to keep the Norwegian.

The well-known journalist added that he believes this negotiation is following the same lines as last year’s Sancho negotiation: “They said he was close, one step away, and it’s being negotiated, but in reality, there’s always been little substance.”
