Bad news for Gian Piero Gasperini and Roma.
After his injury against Udinese, Artem Dovbyk underwent tests that revealed a tear in his left rectus femoris tendon.
The Ukrainian striker joins the list of attacking players already sidelined: Paulo Dybala, Leon Bailey, and Evan Ferguson.
The break comes at a time when the Giallorossi coach can hope to recover. Dovbyk will be out for four to six weeks, writes Il Tempo.
He will certainly miss the matches against Cremonese (November 23), Midtjylland (November 27), the big match against Napoli (November 30), and Cagliari (December 7).
Also at risk are the matches against Celtic on December 11, Como on December 15, and the big match in Turin against Juventus on December 10. In the best-case scenario, he will return on December 29 against Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa.
