The Giallorossi are closely monitoring not only Mason Greenwood, but also Igor Paixao.

The 2000-born player has been closely linked to the Giallorossi in recent days.

As reported by Matteo Moretto, the Roman club is showing concrete interest in the Brazilian striker. Information about the player has been requested from Trigoria, and now all that remains is to wait for the club’s decision.

Paixao had an excellent season this season with a struggling Marseille.

The French club changed management and narrowly missed out on the Champions League, but the Brazilian finished the year with 12 goals and 6 assists in 42 appearances, including 8 (4 goals and 1 assist) in Europe’s top club competition. Roma were already interested in the 2000-born winger last summer.

The winger had also put in good performances in his past stints at Feyenoord, but in the end, it was the French club who landed him. Now, the paths of the Macapá native and the capital could finally cross.
