Roma’s Matias Soule: Intermediary trying to iron out Saudi Arabia move | OneFootball

There has been uncertainty around the future of Matias Soule, who can depart Serie A side Roma due to their issues around FFP. While English clubs like Aston Villa have been mentioned as suitors, attempts are ongoing to find a club in Saudi Arabia.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Argentine is no longer untouchable. 

After some inquiries from the Bundesliga, there’s hope that something will heat up in the Premier League, while Turkey would not be a particularly popular destination.

Something could move in Saudi Arabia, though. In the last few hours, an Italian intermediary has been exploring various options. Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli and another Arab club could be interested. Nothing is definitive or finalized, but evaluations are underway.

Roma would like at least €35 million plus bonuses and it will go a long way in helping them financially.

This is a sign that Aston Villa may not be as keen as first thought and their interest was floated largely to assess market options.
