Roma and Girona are in talks to send Artem Dovbyk to the Italian capital.

The Ukrainian striker has already an agreement in place with the Giallorossi for a permanent move this summer.

His entourage were in Italy in recent days to meet with Roma and finalize an agreement regarding contract length and wages.

After obtaining Dovbyk’s preference, Roma have moved on to Girona.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, the two clubs are about to enter a crucial stage of negotiations in the next days.

Roma have prepared an offer of 32 million euros (fixed) plus add-ons.

Moretto adds that West Ham United contacted the player’s agent briefly today, but it was simply an exploratory inquiry.

As things stand, Roma is all Dovbyk wants; no other offers will be taken into consideration.
