L’Équipe understands that Paris Saint-Germain will soon have its first signing of the summer with Renato Marin (18) set to sign for the club on a five-year contract. Marin will be joining Les Parisiens from AS Roma as a free agent, with the teenager coming to the end of his contract on the 30th of June.
However, despite it being known for a while that Marin would be choosing to join PSG, Roma will not be doing the Ligue 1 side any favours. They will not allow Marin to leave the club before the end of his contract, so he will not be included in PSG’s Club World Cup squad.
The arrival of Marin creates questions about the future of Arnau Tenas (23) in the French capital. The third-choice goalkeeper has made only two appearances for Luis Enrique’s side, once in the league in the dead-rubber tie against Montpellier HSC, and in the Coupe de France against amateur opponents FC Espaly.
