It may not be your typical rivalry as they are notoriously understood in the world of football, but this weekend sees one of the best and biggest for loyal AS Roma fans as we welcome Inter Milan to the Stadio Olimpico’s soil on Saturday for a 5pm kick off.

By comparison, Inter are bidding for their fifth best start to a season with five straight wins.

Roma fans will be naturally optimistic just as the opposition will be – highest scorers in the league, both sides have registered the most shots so far in the 2026/27 campaign, and enjoyed the most touches in an oppositions box so far. There is every reason to enjoy and relish this one, as long as we come out on top and ultimately take all three points on offer by the full time whistle, but it all has all the elements necessary to be an absolute cracker and huge draw for the neutrals of all colours out there all over Europe.
