A Chelsea midfielder has admitted that his first year at the club has not been what he was expecting it to be like after an up and down time.

So the on pitch stuff was not great as a result, and many of the new players coming in were struggling to settle and make an impact.

‘So I feel much better going onto the pitch now because I have this confidence that I have people I trust around me, people that I enjoy being with, and that all just makes it easier.’
