On Monday, Romeu Tuma Júnior returned as president of Corinthians’ Deliberative Council, as the club also moved on squad and staffing issues.

According to Meu Timao, he had been on leave since 13 April.

Corinthians have turned down a possible comeback for left-back Yasmim.

The 29-year-old has ended her contract with Real Madrid and is due to undergo ACL surgery on her right knee next week.

The club have also settled overdue wages owed to part of their workforce.

Payments were made to staff on Pessoa Jurídica, PJ, contracts.
