Cristiano Ronaldo remained an unused substitute as Portugal won 2-1 in Norway on Sunday in the Nations League.
He had been taken off against Wales on Thursday, then stayed on the bench. According to L'Équipe, his previously untouchable status in the Seleçao no longer applies under new head coach Jorge Jesus.

The incident was not shown on the broadcast, but photographers at Ulleval Stadion in Oslo captured it.
As Portugal made their substitutions and he stayed on the bench, Ronaldo showed no obvious frustration.
At full time he headed for the dressing room and did not join the team celebrations.
