Roy Keane has a catalogue full of memorable quips. The former Manchester United midfielder's move into punditry has been filled with one-liners and assessments which have become lodged in football lexicon.

Keane has delivered another amusing take in the latest episode ofStick to Football on Sky Sports. The latest target of Keane's quick-witted criticism is 'Expected Goals', the popular modern statistical metric that measures the probability that a given shot will result in a goal.

Keane, a seven-timePremier League winner, is not having it one bit.

"Do you know what that stat is," the Irishman began animatedly.

"Years ago, when you'd go to a nightclub back in the day, and you'd chat to a girl all night, but you go home by yourself. What's your xG?"

As the laugher unfolded, fellow pundit Gary Neville retorted with some wonderful self-deprication.
