Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim could drop goalkeeper Andre Onana for Sunday's trip to Newcastle United, a report has claimed.
Onana has faced plenty of pressure during his two years at Old Trafford for a series of mistakes which saw him labelled "one of the worst goalkeepers in Man Utd history" by former Red Devils midfielder Nemanja Matic earlier this week.
With that hanging over him, Onana then proceeded to make more mistakes in Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg draw with Lyon, getting caught out by a free kick before parrying a 95th-minute strike into the path of Rayan Cherki for a late equaliser.
According to The Telegraph, Onana fears he could be dropped for Sunday's game against Newcastle, for which Amorim has been tipped to make a change between the posts.
Waiting in the wings is 26-year-old Altay Bayindir, who has just six cup appearances to his name this season. The Turkiye international has been tipped to leave the club this summer over his lack of minutes and will be desperate for the opportunity to impress in the starting lineup.
There have been numerous reports suggesting United could look to replace Onana this summer, with Brighton & Hove Albion's Bart Verbruggen the latest to be linked.

Former United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel offered his verdict on Onana's display against Lyon after the game. While he attempted to defend these specific incidents, he confessed he has significant concerns about the Cameroon international.
"It's a difficult one," he told talkSPORT. "I'm not going goalkeepers' union here, but [Lyon's first goal] is a difficult one because some people are running across you. But I still think he should have dealt with it.
"The second one, again, I felt that he should have kept it. Yeah, it's a hard shot, but it's straight at him.
"Is he the problem? Is the defence the problem? Is the midfield? I think there are so many issues Ruben Amorim needs to sort out. I mean, I would be very uncomfortable with just pointing to one player.
"But it's not great to watch, I have to say that. You never feel safe. You never feel that, even going 2-1 up, that this is it. You always fear that the other team's going to come back in the game, and they did, but a 2-2 away from home is not bad, and they've done well at Old Trafford in the Europa League."
