Ruben Amorim excludes Odogu and Nkunku from AC Milan plans | OneFootball

Sky Sports reported that Ruben Amorim has decided to leave out several first-team players from his AC Milan squad plans. The former Manchester United coach has replaced Massimiliano Allegri at the seven-time Champions League winners.

According to reports, former Bundesliga top-scorer Christopher Nkunku and Germany youth international David Odogu are among the list of players told to find new clubs by the Portuguese coach.

Nkunku, who won the Kicker-Torjägerkanone award alongside Niclas Füllkrug in 2023 with the lowest number of goals (16) in Bundesliga history, came off his best season since leaving RB Leipzig, but he wasn’t able to convince Amorim during the pre-season.

Meanwhile, Odogu has been linked with a move to Mainz 05 at the start of this week. The 20-year-old has only played five minutes of Serie A football after making the jump from VfL Wolfsburg last summer.
