Benfica, led by Rui Costa, are in negotiations to sign 19-year-old forward Marcel Regula from Zaglebie Lubin, currently fifth in their domestic league.

According to Glorioso 1904, the clubs have taken a significant step in talks. A Lubin delegation is due in Lisbon this weekend, and a deal could be sealed in the coming days. The report also referenced an alleged meeting between the clubs in recent days to discuss terms.

No figures have been confirmed by either side, though indications put a possible agreement at around 10 million euros.

Regula is seen as one of Zaglebie Lubin’s brightest talents and among Poland’s leading prospects.

This season for Zaglebie Lubin, he has made 27 appearances, 26 in the league and one in the Polish Cup, totalling 1,849 minutes. He has scored six goals and provided three assists. He is valued at 7 million euros.
