Russell Martin says Leicester City's transfer work is not finished, with three or four more arrivals possible before the window closes.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, the Foxes have made nine signings this summer, yet they have failed to beat Notts County or Burton Albion at the start of the season.

Central defence is the priority for the final week of trading. Ben Nelson's ACL injury has left them short, and Wout Faes was left out of the first two games amid transfer speculation.

Harry Souttar and Caleb Okoli started those matches and drew criticism. After the defeat to Burton, Martin said there was still business to do.

He said: "I think we'll probably, without giving really specific positions, I still think we'll end up with three or four players coming in the building before the end of the window."

He said no defender was imminent on Friday, then on Saturday hinted one could arrive before they visit Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. "Possibly, yes, possibly. I think it's obviously always fluid."

He added: "Nothing's changed. I think we have to strengthen in certain areas that we don't feel as strong as others. So nothing's really changed."
