Cameroonian central defender Christopher Wooh has finally found the back of the net for Spartak Moscow. Having joined the club in 2022, the Cameroon international scored his very first goal for the Moscow side on Monday in a spectacular match during the 20th round of the Russian championship.

Christopher Wooh has netted his first goal in Spartak Moscow colors. This marks his first goal since arriving at the club in 2022. Facing Akron Togliatti in a match full of twists and turns, Spartak Moscow came out on top with a thrilling 4-3 victory. Starting at center-back, Christopher Wooh scored his team's second goal, giving Spartak a 2-1 lead during the encounter.

First goal of the season

This goal is also the defender's first of the season, coming in his tenth league appearance of the campaign. It’s a deserved reward for a player who is steadily establishing himself in the Moscow club’s defensive rotation.

Christopher Wooh now brings his career tally to seven goals: 5 at club level and 2 for the Indomitable Lions in just three caps. An impressive ratio for a central defender, further proving his ability to pose a threat during set pieces.
