The latest reports around Ryan Gravenberch are a dream come true. It's exactly what Liverpool needed to do.
Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool in 2023 with a lot to prove. He'd flopped at Bayern Munich, unable to find a way to fit in and the Bavarians were quite happy to get money back for him in the end.
Liverpool took a chance on him, feeling there was a lot more to come from Gravenberch. Jurgen Klopp came somewhat close to finding that potential, though the midfielder was still struggling a little after his debut campaign.

In fact, to highlight Gravenberch's reputation at the time, reports linking him to Galatasaray were everywhere in 2024. They appear to have viewed him as an attainable player.
That's certainly not the case anymore.
Gravenberch's rise under Arne Slot has been remarkable, with the new boss viewing him more as a sitting midfielder in a deeper two, rather than as an attacking midfielder. The change meant a growth from 'squad player' to 'PFA Team of the Year' within the space of a season.
Gravenberch is now, quite unquestionably, one of the absolute best midfielders in the world. And that's why new reports are so fantastic to see.
Liverpool are reportedly recognising Gravenberch's rise with a new contract offer. One that we absolutely hope he accepts.
Of course, it's difficult to believe they'd ready the offer without some sort of inclination that he'd accept it. It's just overall brilliant news as one of the best young players in the world looks to commit his future to Liverpool.
And honestly, that's a dream come true. Liverpool have seen Trent Alexander-Arnold bin them off for Real Madrid this year and suggestions are that Ibrahima Konate plans on doing the same in 2026.
