Sacha Boey to leave Bayern Munich in the summer, with Galatasaray interested | OneFootball

According to Florian Plettenberg, Sacha Boey (24) is set to leave Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. The French right-back has been identified as one of several players who could leave the Allianz Arena when the transfer window reopens.

Boey signed for Bayern in the January of 2024 for a fee of €30m. However, things haven’t quite worked out as the 24-year-old would have planned when he arrived in Germany. The former Rennes full back has only made 16 appearances for the Bundesliga club in an 18-month period. His time at the Munich club has been filled with injuries, with him missing a potential 32 matches through injury.

A return to Turkey?

One of the clubs interested in signing the Frenchman is Galatasaray. The Turkish club sold Boey to Bayern after a positive spell in th Turkish Super League. He made 83 appearances for the club spanning across a three and a half-year period.
