Sacha Boey ‘to rejoin’ Galatasaray on loan as Bayern Munich exit looms | OneFootball

Galatasaray are closing in on the return of Sacha Boey from Bayern Munich on an initial loan with a purchase option, Foot Mercato reports.

The 25-year-old left Rams Park for the Bundesliga in January 2024 in a €30m move. He is now expected back in Istanbul to complete a medical and finalise formalities.

Boey struggled for regular minutes in Munich. He made 15 appearances across all competitions this season, with only six starts amid strong competition for places.

With the transfer window in Türkiye still open, Galatasaray have acted quickly to strengthen at right-back. The French full-back was a fan favourite in his previous spell and knows the Süper Lig environment well.

His pace and defensive edge are viewed as an immediate boost for the final stretch of the campaign. For Boey, the move offers a chance to re-establish himself as a starter and rediscover the form that attracted Europe’s top clubs.
