Sacked youth staffer returns to Corinthians after allegations

According to information published by the portal Meu Timão on the evening of Monday, September 8, Corinthians has rehired Bruno Korquievicz for the administrative sector of the club's youth categories. Son of former midfielder Ricardinho, who had a notable stint at Alvinegro, he was fired from the club after being accused of exchanging sexually suggestive messages with the youth players of Corinthians.

On May 16, 2025, the Public Prosecutor's Office of São Paulo (MP-SP) determined that the investigation into the case should be archived due to lack of evidence against Bruno Korquievicz. In addition, according to the portal, the employee returns to Corinthians to serve as planning manager of the amateur department. Before returning to Alvinegro, he was at the São Paulo Football Federation (FPF).

At the beginning of the year, Bruno had resigned from his position in the Corinthians youth categories after the allegations about the case became public and created an uncomfortable atmosphere among the young athletes. Information from Meu Timão indicates that an internal investigation into the facts was only opened after the start of the police investigations.

At that time, in January, Corinthians was still presided over by Augusto Melo, who was definitively removed from office on August 9, and the youth department was led by Claudinei Alves and Alex Brasil (he remains until today) as executive. After the removal of the old board, Osmar Stabile took over as interim and later definitive president, appointing Carlos Alberto Auricchio, known as Nenê do Posto, as director of the base.
