It is set to be a busy transfer window at AS Monaco. The Principality club secured their qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League thanks to a win over Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday and can now offer top-tier European football. Eric Dier is already set to join the club on a free transfer, upon the expiry of his deal at Bayern Munich.
However, there will also be departures. Maghnes Akliouche, Wilfried Singo, Caio Henrique, and Vanderson will all be allowed to leave the club in the summer, L’Équipe understands. There could also be a departure in the goalkeeper department. Neither Philipp Köhn nor Radoslaw Majecki have convinced over a long period, and so Monaco are seeking to recruit another goalkeeper. One of the goalkeepers currently on their books is therefore expected to depart.
There are other players who are considering their futures, as per L’Équipe, including the highly-rated Saïmon Bouabré (18). The playmaker has impressed for the club’s Groupe Élite, including in the UEFA Youth League, however, Bouabré has found first-team opportunities limited (three first-team appearances this season) and could consider his future with Monaco.
Mohammed Salisu (26), very much used as a back-up option by Adi Hütter, may also consider his future, whilst Eliesse Ben Seghir and Aleksandr Golovin are also mulling over potential departures, as already reported by L’Équipe.
