Saint-Étienne to sign Go Ahead Eagles’ Jakob Breum | OneFootball

AS Saint-Étienne are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of Go Ahead Eagles’ Jakob Breum (22), according to Voetbal International.

With an agreement between the various parties believed to have already been reached, the attacking midfielder is expected to undergo his medical shortly, before signing a four-year contract – running until 2030 – with Les Verts. An option for an additional year is also said to have been included in the deal.

Having come through the Odense BK academy, the Danish Under-21 international (six caps) enjoyed a successful season with GAE. A starter in 32 of the 37 matches he played during the 2025-26 season, Breum proved decisive on 13 occasions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.

The season was notably marked by his first taste of European competition in the Europa League, during which the 22-year-old had the opportunity to face OGC Nice (a 3-1 defeat) and, most notably, Olympique Lyonnais (a 2-1 defeat), ASSE’s arch-rivals.
