Arsenal have clawed their way back into proceedings at the Stadium of Light against a doggedly determined Sunderland.
Down by a goal thanks to former academy graduate Dan Ballard before the half-time interval, Mikel Arteta's side fought to restore parity, with club star Bukayo Saka slotting home to make it 1-1 in the 54th minute before Leandro Trossard made it 2-1 twenty minutes later.

Not yet at his best this season, the England international still has a penchant for popping up in critical moments for the Gunners, with his equaliser against the Black Cats now giving him 75 goals in Arsenal colours.
Still only 24, the Hale End product can also boast 64 assists for the club on his way to becoming the unquestionable face of the capital giants.
Not bad for a player who made his debut as a left-back.
