Arsenal will entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday night as they look to secure a victory at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn an impressive 3-0 win over Club Brugge recently, which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.

Mikel Arteta will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to revert to his strongest XI for this contest. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

David Raya will play in between the sticks for the North London club after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. William Saliba, who is a concern for this game, will function alongside Piero Hincapie at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they focus on maintaining a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Jurrien Timber will try to catch the eye as the right-back if he can recover in time for this game. Myles Lewis-Skelly will hope to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.

Ben White will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Arteta will probably revert to a midfield three of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Martin Odegaard for this clash against Wolves this weekend. However, the Gunners will be sweating on the fitness of Rice.

All three of them will look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park and engineer some promising chances in the final third.

Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino and Christian Norgaard will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Eberechi Eze will get the nod to shine on the left flank, while Bukayo Saka looks to weave his magic from the right wing.

Viktor Gyokeres will once again lead the line for the Gunners up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet after failing to score versus Club Brugge in midweek.

Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter of the game if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
