The Premier League Christmas schedule adjusted closer to the upcoming New Year’s celebrations, as the table-topping Reds travelled to the capital to face off against West Ham at the London Stadium.

Ryan Gravenberch – 8.0

The Duch midfielder was full of awareness and was able to use his physical strength to outrun and outmanoeuvre the Hammers.

After the break, the former Ajax prodigy was the man to deliver the simple assist for his side’s fourth goal and cover the pitch with guile.

The former England under-21 captain was critical in the attacking patterns of play through a tremendous first-half display of control and ingenuity.

The Columbian attacker started as the central striker, before alternating his role with Cody Gakpo through a frenetic first half. His explosive nature and direct dribbling ability were apparent in a powerful first half, as the electric forward opened the scoring with a well-taken goal after one fine effort was tipped over the bar.

After the restart, the former Porto man was always an option and pushed the limits of his markers through a very good second half display.

Cody Gakpo – 8.0

The Dutch forward started on the left of an attacking front three with a licence to switch roles with his teammate, Luis Díaz. His physicality and direct nature are becoming a vital weapon in the Arne Slot toolbox, as he scored the game’s second goal from close range.

After the halftime break, the former PSV man was effective before leaving the pitch.
