According to Goal.com, Salem Al-Dawsari has returned to Al-Hilal’s headquarters to continue his rehabilitation roughly six weeks after knee tendon surgery, edging the captain closer to a comeback.

The club posted a video on X showing him inside the facility as he began a new phase of treatment. He has been kept out of matches and group training since the operation.

Medical staff are overseeing his programme inside the club. The next stage centres on gym-based conditioning, then a gradual progression to ball work.

A further two to four weeks are anticipated before he can resume full participation.

If his rehabilitation proceeds without setbacks, he could return to the pitch after the upcoming international break. He would then rebuild match sharpness and work his way back into the coaching staff’s plans.

He underwent tendon surgery last July and was initially projected to miss at least six to eight weeks, so he is now nearing that timeframe.
