Young PSV Eindhoven striker Sami Bouhoudane has chosen to represent Morocco on the international stage, dashing the hopes of the Dutch FA who wanted to see him continue with the Netherlands' youth teams.

According to Italian transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the young forward has decided to join Morocco’s under-20 squad for the upcoming international window.

On his "X" account, Fabrizio Romano wrote: "Despite several attempts from the Dutch federation, PSV’s promising forward Sami Bouhoudane has made the decision to join Morocco’s under-20 national team. He’s chosen to represent Morocco over the Netherlands."
