Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has responded to whether the club's loanees Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane are eligible to play against their parent club.
The two players were sent out on loan to Siwelele FC during the off-season, in what was a strategy to afford them ample game time for their development.
Kaze says Amakhosi are keeping tabs on the players' progress during their loan spell at the newly rebranded side as they want to asses their future at Naturena for next season.
“We monitor the progress because we have a right on them as well and as coaches we need to monitor their progress to see what we want to do with them next season,” said the Burundian tactician.
Now, with Chiefs set to battle for crucial maximum points against Siwelele at FNB Stadium on Wednesday (19h30), the CAF A License holder confirmed the duo is free to face the Soweto giants.
"On the contrary of other teams that when they loan players they don't allow them to play against them - us we have allowed them to play against us because we want to see them on the field.
"We want them to improve and we want them to get better for us.
Chiefs head into the clash sitting in fourth place with 15 points accumulated from eight matches, while the Bloemfontein-based outfit is languishing in 14th place with seven points from nine games.
