Sampdoria make contact for Freiburg’s Grifo

Sampdoria have made contact with Freiburg for the signing of Italy international Vincenzo Grifo.

Gianluca di Marzio has stated that there has been preliminary contact between the two clubs so far and the German club are opening up to a loan exit of the Italian this January.

Playing in Italy has been a dream for Grifo but he’s never had the chance at a senior level. The contacts currently are very initial, as Sampdoria look for a big January move.
