Samsunspor beat Göztepe 3-0 on Saturday in the Süper Lig at the Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadyumu, ending the visitors' five-match unbeaten run and dropping them to sixth.

In the 36th minute, Tanguy Coulibaly swept a left-footed finish into the bottom corner after a fast break, laid on by Marius Mouandilmadji.

After the restart, Arda Kurtulan had a goal ruled out after a VAR review (51.).

Héliton Jorge Tito dos Santos was sent off for violent conduct (81.), and Samsunspor pulled away against ten men.

Elayis Tavşan rifled into the top left from the centre of the box (85.), before Mouandilmadji finished low from the left after Tavşan's pass (89.). Both Coulibaly and Tavşan registered their first Samsunspor goals since arriving this season.

Okan Kocuk made five saves as Göztepe fired off 22 attempts. Samsunspor were clinical, hitting nine shots on target and controlling 62.1% possession.

The result leaves Samsunspor seventh on 51 points. Göztepe sit sixth.
