According to O Jogo, FC Porto are prioritising their attack in the transfer market as Samu continues recovering from a serious injury. The club are working to sign a centre-forward who can start the season, and a second attacking addition could also arrive.
While most team-mates rest after a demanding campaign that returned the title to the club, Samu remains at Olival. He is training daily alongside members of the Dragons’ medical department.

Only later will he take a short break to return to his home country and visit family.
Even then, he will be accompanied by a physiotherapist so he can continue his rehabilitation.
The objective is to have a forward available for the start of the campaign, with scope for two reinforcements in attack.
