Samuel Umtiti joins RMC as consultant for 2026 World Cup coverage

According to L'Équipe, RMC have hired Samuel Umtiti as a consultant for their 2026 World Cup coverage. The tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July.

The 2018 World Cup winner will contribute to Génération After and L'After Foot, starting this Sunday after PSG v OM.

He will appear on L'After alongside fellow world champion Emmanuel Petit.

The former Lyon and Barcelona defender, 32, has 31 caps and four goals for France.

Since the start of the season, Umtiti has featured regularly on DAZN programmes and has tried commentary. He should continue working with DAZN despite his arrival at RMC.
